Singapore Hazed Out by Harrison

Indonesia’s deleterious haze is threatening the people of Singapore with a huge incline of damaging air that is causing dis-order and forcing the elderly with weak immune systems and children with ill developed immune systems to seek shelter inside. All of this is causing pandemonium.

usually the Singapore community is an active community willing to play sports outside and have fun with one another. The haze started in September and made its quick descent from Indonesia to Singapore in the matter of a few short days, each day increasingly worse than the other until the air was completely contaminated.

A month later and Indonesia’s haze has not retired and citizens are starting to get annoyed with the haze due to it restricting physical activity. Most kids take refuge in their parents house either in their room or on the TV, one teenager says “it’s like being in lockdown for no reason”. All the singaporean government can do is just be optimistic for their people.
