More food for the Bangladeshi Workers by Sota

On February 12th 2015, one email was sent to the whole of Middle school in UWCSEA, The email was sent by Judith Blake a teacher stating “Last week, PGU in Grade 7. Total of 530 pieces of fruit”. 7 PGu a grade 7 class were the all time conquerors of Fresh Fruit Friday and the students from 7 PGu were given fame by the FFF organisers.

Fresh Fruit Friday (FFF) is a service in UWCSEA about collecting fruits from the students to give to the migrant Bangladeshi workers in Singapore, the workers were not properly fed and dying of hunger, they were only are given a very small amount of food for the day, they are not able to get the nutrients and energy that they need to work for the day. The fruits that the students give in are very healthy like apples and oranges. These fruits is a lifesaving deal for them and they really depend on the fruits the students give in.
